TARLA thermionic electron source is designed by the radiation source ELBE (Electron Linac for beams with high Brilliance and low Emittance) project at HZDR (Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf). TARLA electron gun was developed in collaboration with HZDR.
