AUTOMATION ENGINEER

We are seeking personnel for the Automation Engineer, who will work in the Turkish Accelerator and Radiation Laboratory (TARLA), which is under construction in Ankara University Gölbaşı Campus, with the aim of creating and increasing the capacity to produce high technology by providing accelerator-based research opportunities to basic, applied and engineering research units.

Attributes;

  • Universities Electrical-Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering etc. bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree,
  • Having a good level of foreign language, able to understand what he reads and express himself fluently
  • Willing to work in the field of machine automation systems, open to research and self-development
  • Have process knowledge
  • Able to read and create electrical project on e-plan
  • Knowledge of Siemens S7 1200/1500 PLC automation peripherals and communication protocols (in STL and LADDER language)
  • Able to actively use the TIA Portal program
  • Experienced in SCADA, HMI, applications
  • Able to design systems with analog and digital instruments.
  • Preferably worked in the machinery manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of control circuits and automatic control systems
  • Knowledge and experience of industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, Powerlink)
  • Programming and commissioning with automation hardware and software products
  • Knowledge of servo motors, servo drives, sensors, pneumatic and hydraulic products
  • Having electrical knowledge (to know automation panels and components, to set up complex control circuits and algorithms, to read and interpret electrical projects),
  • Having the ability to find and solve faults, actively take part in fault and periodic maintenance works,
  • Experienced in field studies, dynamic, disciplined and hardworking
  • Open to learning and teaching, analytical thinking
  • Inclined to teamwork, creative, well-developed coordination skills
  • Those residing / able to reside in Ankara

Job Description;

  • SCADA, ERP, MES/MOM etc. Carrying out integrations with systems,
  • Data mapping of the facility and integrating data collection systems,
  • To carry out exploration and project design studies for remote reading systems to be installed at the facility,
  • SCADA, ERP, MES/MOM etc. Carrying out integrations with systems,
  • To carry out the necessary installation and development studies to read data using MODBUS (RTU and TCP/IP) and OPC-UA,
  • To make researches and selections of devices, tools-equipment, hardware required for data reading,
  • Developing alternative automation solutions for scenarios where data sharing is limited or not possible.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly unit reports.
